Working with Optimism was fantastic!  When approaching Optimism to develop a H&S induction for site visits we had a lot of dry content to get across with very tight timelines but through their professional, nothing-is-a-problem attitude and creative approach we managed to develop an induction that is something that we are proud of and sets the tone for how we manage H&S.

Their Brief

After purchasing the passive mobile infrastructure from Vodafone NZ (now One NZ), Fortysouth were soon to become fully responsible for the maintenance of the cell tower sites. This meant that they needed to set out and communicate their own health, safety and wellbeing best practices to anyone going onto a Fortysouth site.

The health, safety and wellbeing learning solution needed to be device-responsive, integrate Fortysouth-specific imagery and reflect their bold brand identity.

Our Role

With a short timeframe, we got to work quickly defining the objectives and scope with the Fortysouth team. From there we drew up a concept and designs for a learning solution that would be visually stunning and impactful.

Next, we developed interactive content, beautiful animation and video, and engaging scenarios to create a memorable Health, Safety and Wellbeing Induction for their employees and contractors. This solution was delivered via the Avetta LMS for easy tracking & reporting.

Their Results

Fortysouth is now able to:

  • Induct all employees and contractors in healthy, safety & wellbeing with re-usable and scalable digital learning
  • track health and safety completions
  • support increased reporting of incidents and near misses
  • offer a self-paced learning experience available anywhere
  • eliminate the cost of health, safety & wellbeing refresher training.
