Sussan is the founding Director of Optimism, (previously Ockwell, est. 1988) and New Zealand’s leading Learning Strategist and Instructional Designer.
Sussan has a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Management and a Diploma of Business Studies (endorsed Training and Development), both from Massey University.
Sussan is a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, and is a past National Executive of the New Zealand Association of Training and Development. She is a regular speaker at HR and learning conferences in Australia and New Zealand.
