"Palmerston North City Council engaged Ockwell to develop a customer service training package. We asked Ockwell to design a package that would catch the attention of staff, would have long term benefits, and be cost effective. The quality and presentation of materials lent a distinct feel to the training. The flexible delivery options of self-paced and in-house coaches have enabled the training to continue with minimum cost as staff turn over. But probably the biggest impact has been the monitoring strategies that were developed and are still in place 16 months later. "Ockwell were engaged to work along side a small team to design, develop and deliver training material for a large national client. The Ockwell consultants worked onsite and quickly blended into the team. They were professional, proactive and readily took responsibility for delivering high quality outcomes. As the training lead on the job, this certainly made my job a lot easier.

The result was over 1000 people trained, either online or by attending a classroom based course, in the space of four weeks. Over 25 courses were developed and materials included comprehensive trainer guides, trainee workbooks, slide packs and a variety of job aids.

The timeframes for this engagement were very aggressive, but the training was delivered on time and as planned. This enabled the overall project to be implemented on schedule.
